​I decided to run for the board, as it is very painful to see the deterioration of our community, especially in the following areas:

​​

• The lack of transparency is astounding

• Cover-up and fearmongering are the mode of operation of this board

• Construction projects for millions of dollars are not properly executed, non-essential projects are given priority, projects are executed without permits

• The voices of the owners are completely ignored. 

 

If elected to the Board, I will apply my skills and background to make sure:

• Our money is being spent responsibly and in the most efficient way

• ​We have transparent competitive bidding

• To instill a culture of respect for owners, transparency, and trust

• There is full control of vendors' and contractors' performance

• The owners' voices are heard and valued. The board and management work to protect the interests of the owners, not against them.

My relevant experiences and areas of expertise include:

​​

• 41 years of managing logistical activities for global shipping lines (Evergreen, Maersk, and Senator lines), including on a national level.

• Responsible for $20M to $50M transportation budgets

• Establishing Standard Operation Procedures and policies, rates and contract negotiations, managing warehouse inventory, as well as implementation of new computer logistics models and inventory control.

I believe that with my work experience and problem-solving skills, I will be a valuable contributor to the Hemispheres Board of Directors.
